Jesse Freidin Intro to Fine Art Dog Portraiture
The bond between dog and human is an undeniable force for good, and artists have been compelled to document that bond for centuries. This class will open your eyes to a new way of seeing your animal companion, and guide you through the process of creating an intimate and emotional series of fine art dog portraits. Through an exploration of portraiture fundamentals, camera basics, and key dog handling techniques, each student will learn to articulate the mysterious and timeless symbiotic relationship between dog and human through their own photography.
Jesse Freidin Analog Photography in a Digital World
Digital photography has come a long way over the past 10 years, but it’s roots will always be planted firmly within analog fundamentals. Take a step away from the computer and learn what all those buttons truly mean. This class will take you through the basics of aperture, f-stop, and film speed as well as the beauty of shooting on ‘manual.’ We’ll also discuss how to apply analog photography techniques to your digital work flow and image processing. Taught by award-winning analog photographer Jesse Freidin.
